BACKGROUND
The Skyparks Robotic Parking System was developed at a cost of some €20 million and is considered the most modern automated parking system currently used in the world.
The Skyparks Robotic Parking System was first designed by Swedish engineers at the beginning of the 1990's and the first pilot scheme of 124 spaces was built in Hallsberg, Sweden in 1991. After designing and building several more Skyparks Robotic Parking System throughout the world, manufacturing moved from Sweden to the UK in 2001, and the latest systems have all been shipped from the UK.
